This is a comparison, but not 100% accurate. I had to edit the left image to roughly look like the way its saving.
The design on the right is how I designed it and the one on the left is how it is saving. Ive tried JPEGs and TIFFs and get the same result.
All of the colors I see in Corel are always viewed in RGB even if I choose a CMYK value, Its been like that since we upgraded to X8 from X6. I also work with Windows 10 OS with BootCamp on a Mac (dont know how much that matters)
How can I fix this? Is there a Color Management Setting I can use? How can I view Correct Colors while working so that I dont run into colors issues at the end?
What are your color management settings? You may want to try perceptual rendering.
hello
(sorry my messages werent sending)
I changed my setting to North America General Purpose, and that worked! I just had to rework the colors.
I have a new problem now though. Corel wont Save my Color Management settings and switches back to what it was: Simulate Color Management Off. I am in Default Settings not Document Settings so it should keep those settings for every doccument, right?
Have you named and saved them?
I didnt realize you had to save the settings. It seems to be keeping the settings. Thanks a lot!
So it looks like saving it didnt make a difference. it will always switch back to "Simulate Color Management Off". It seems like if the program is closed and opened back up it will go back to being "Off"
this option is under Tools / Options / workspace / view
I don't have a category named View. I have one called Display, could that be what you're referring to? In Display there's a checkbox labeled "Proof colors by default" that sounds like it will display my color management settings continuously.
