Very often users hide large part of complex figure with many objects via Corel PowerClip feature, so in page stays visible only small part of this complex objects inside PowerClip.
But Corel keeps in file and memore the whole figure (that placed into PowerClip) with all objects, even if them hidden.
Is there any easy way to expand PowerClip object, for delete (trim) all hidden objects and parts of objects, like cutting via Corel Knife or Crop tool, and keep only visible part of objects?
Yes, I suggest Shelby’s PowerClips 2 Bitmaps - an affordable macro, designed for that.
As I see in description - it do rasterize powerclip object, and convert to pixel bitmap?
I don't want convert vector drawing to bitmap, I want keep vector drawing with all separate objects, but trim them like Corel Draw Knife tool.
What is difference between this macro and standard Corel Rasterize function?
Yes it converts to bitmap, but at any resolution you choose.
This macro rasterizes many powerclips at once. And it can regenerate live shadows that may have been applied to the powerclip. Details are on product page for the scenarios it can help designers with.
I have another macro which cuts away excess stuff outside Powerclip frame, with some "padding"... 2mm as I recall. This makes sure Powerclip looks right later and also give you some flexibility to move art inside a tiny amount. Bitmaps inside powerclip are truly cropped, not just intersected. Many times people move bitmap nodes, but the art is still there taking up memory. I can include it for your vector preservation needs. :-)
