Just bought CorelCAD 2020, ... when clicked on icon for plug ins it took me to a Graebert site that outlined their products including ARES Commander and invited me to register for newsletter which I done, ... it then provided a free .pdf copy of a User Guide for ARES Commander wrote by Ralph Grabowski.
Would like to use latest most accurate USER guide / manual to learn how to use CorelCAD 2020 properly, ... and found Corel online offer only a User Guide for CorelCAD 2016.
Can anyone confirm, ... A - what differences there are between 2016 and 2020 versions of CorelCAD, ... and B - what differences are there between the CorelCAD 2016 user guide and the Graebert free pdf guide for ARES Commander offered online ?

Such a pity as few years ago I bought a great book on Corel X8 what was recommended on Corel.com website and published by Mc Graw Hill.

Do not purchase the User Guide for CorelCAD 2016, it is next to useless.
CorelCAD is almost the same as AutoCAD, most AutoCAD books will give you a good idea. I am interested in 3D printing and use CorelDraw X6, have most of the newer versions, prefer X6, it does what I want it to do, I am a sign maker, love X6 for a Roland wide format printer.
I purchased "Beginning AutoCAD 2018", "Advanced AutoCAD 2018" as well as "AutoCAD 3D Modeling", from Amazon, helped me a lot.

I have decided to purchase Rhino 6.0 for 3D work as they have excellent user guides and training manuals, and really good customer service from professionals experienced in using their software.
FYI, ... am very happy with CorelDraw Technical Suite 2020 and received awesome support from their customer service team on a problem I had with Capture due to a conflict with software within programs that start automatically on my computer, ... their customer service team were really good and solved my problem very quickly.
However, ... separately I contacted the CorelCAD customer service team with query about user guide as above, ... and their customer service was appalling, the arrogance shown, the lack of listening to a customers query, and their proposed solution was to go buy the older 2016 user guide knowing it does not include the updates to 2020, and contact other users on the forum for assistance, and not to contact their level 3 rep as she felt my question as above was not important enough for her to waste her time on it.
Yes, I am letting off steam about it, ... because she upset me so much with the careless approach.
CorelCAD have an excellent webpage to portray their product, ... with appalling customer service, ... and try to sell their out of date pdf user guide to customers at an exorbitant price, ... plus they do not have a printed up to date user guide available for purchase.
CorelCAD is over promoted, and oversold, ... with appalling customer support from staff that do not know the product, have no real world experience of CAD design workflows, and do not even have basic customer service competencies, ...
Corel need to completely change their product strategy and customer service team for CorelCAD as a matter of urgency or take it off the market, ... in its current state it will only harm the reputation of Corel.
