It's more than frustrating! CDR 2019 freezes at al lot of normal actions. It freezes when importing SVG-files, it freezes sometime when only copying an graphic element from one page to another. An I can reproduce that behaviour - so it is not just a time to time failure of the program!
So, Corel-Team, would you please either deliver an bug-fixing update soon or alternativ a tool to convert CDR-Files from Version 2019 to Version 2018 with which I don't have to open each file separately and save it in CDR2018 format again! Fortunately I stll have CDR1018 still on my PC - and that is working without any problem!
Stop implementing more and more kinky and unnecessary, only for private playing users interesting, tools and concetrate on a stable working platform for professionals! If the upcoming update, and I hope it is coming really soon, doesn't fix the problems, I have to terminate my subscription, work only with CDR2018 and start to migrate to Adobe products.
A very disappointed user that worked with CDR since Version 4!
for me i have a 80% chance of crash when i export eps to the rip hotfolder. Totally ridiculous
I think I saw something about trying to multitask while exporting EPS causing a crash.
You may be thinking of this thread: Does your CorelDraw 2019 closes "crashes" all the time?
Yes, trying to save while it is still working on an EPS export can crash 2019.
so that's why when i try to complain with my coworkers "look how ridiculous it is, i click export and the crash" - and the it doesn't crash.
So i have to wait until it finish to export... I hope the workaround is that simple (but i love to multitask...)

of course.
so, now i unserstand, on previous versions, i hit save, then hit export, then continue to work on something else. Now i have to wait 1 minute to save and 1 minute to export before continuing to work. probably the only case where a paid upgrade worsened my productivity
As far as CorelDraw saving native .cdr files in the BACKGROUND, that is capable if you have it checked to in global settings. I noticed by default it was unchecked unlike previous versions? Did you have take a look at this setting? Mentioned 3 times.
I haven't tried lately to EXPORT and to see if it does this in the BACKGROUND and complete while moving on to something else, but "assume" it would not? Like Adobe Illustrator and other graphics software, you MUST wait until the EXPORT finishes.
