Can anyone make me a macro which automatically selects all objects with a specifig RGB colour? This is the colour:R 108G 133B 184#6C85B8(I can use the search and replace function and save and load it... but just clicking on a makro would make it a lot easier and faster for me)Thanks!Roelli.
Are you familiar with the Select Same macro available from MacroMonster?

Select Same is very handy and easy to use. Recommended.
G R E A T ! Works perfectly. Thanks a lot!www.youtube.com/watch
I made a keybaord shortcut and added the icon. But now it does not work anymore. :-( I manually removed the Macro in the ...GMS... folder for corel... reinstalled it - but that did nto help.
Seems like there is an error symbol showing up...?
I tried to install the macro a few times... The problem is when the checkboxes are "pre-selected" and with a grey symbol... then the macro crashes. When I manually de-select all grey and already checked boxes and THEN check the box I need, then it works. Is there anything I can do so that it works directly?
Strange, I have never seen anything like that. These settings seem to be stored in Registry,\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\VB and VBA Program Settings\VBA_SelectSame\OptionsTry to delete (rename?) this key to see if you can get it back on track again?
Ok, it's fixed now. 3 Entry did not even exist. I added these manually and... working fine now. GREAT! I like REALLY this Macro!Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\VBA_SelectSame] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\VBA_SelectSame\Options] "Type"="False" "Outline"="False" "InGroups"="True" "Fill"="False" "Nodes"="False" "Paths"="False" "OutlineColor"="True" "Size"="False" "ActiveOnly"="False"
Hmm... the problem seems to be the "true/false" names. After using the macro one time... the true/false will be changed to german words (wahr/falsch).And I guess that's the problem. But... not sure how to fix this!?

For a real "fix", you might need to get the macro author to look at that. Perhaps the way that they are storing the information does not work correctly in different language environments.
As sort of an ugly workaround, you could use a sub to delete the Registry entries for that macro:
Sub delete_SelectSame_Registry_entries() Dim lngResponse As Long lngResponse = MsgBox("Registry entries for Select Same will be removed." & vbCrLf & vbCrLf & "Continue?", vbOKCancel + vbExclamation) If lngResponse = vbOK Then SaveSetting "SelectSame", "Options", "Foo", "Foo" DeleteSetting "SelectSame" SaveSetting "VBA_SelectSame", "Options", "Foo", "Foo" DeleteSetting "VBA_SelectSame" End If End Sub
It would not be convenient to have to run that before using Select Same, but again, it might serve as a workaround that would allow you to use it.

I assume you have a German Windows version, which may explain why this happens, but I have Swedish version and it does not change from English to Swedish for me.
