Frequently when I'm doing something on my computer--and I haven't figured out any common theme as to when it happens--I get this popup saying that my computer is installing or configuring "PureHD" and it has some path that starts in the Corel folder. I have Corel Painter X and Corel PaintShop Photo Pro and something called "MLE" installed in the Corel folder under "Program Files" on my computer.
At first I would always cancel out of the seemingly neverending onslaught of "PureHD" installation windows, but then I decided to try to let it install, but it says that resources aren't there and wants me to locate files manually, and of course I have no idea what it's looking for.
I'm pretty sure that PureHD isn't anything I want or need, so how can I make it go away already? Thanks in advance.
Oops ! Sorry did not see your profile pic and the info.

IDIOT.
It's because of morons like you that viruses are able to spread faster and faster.
To whom are you speaking?
I just wanted to report back and say that I haven't seen the PureHD installer in a long time. I did a lot of the suggested things so I can't say which one was the one that fixed it... but somehow, I did fix it. Thank god!
Hi.
I would check and see if it is starting with Windows. If so cancel it.
You can use a program like Ace Utilities or access by typing MSCONFIG in the Start Search box.
