Frequently when I'm doing something on my computer--and I haven't figured out any common theme as to when it happens--I get this popup saying that my computer is installing or configuring "PureHD" and it has some path that starts in the Corel folder. I have Corel Painter X and Corel PaintShop Photo Pro and something called "MLE" installed in the Corel folder under "Program Files" on my computer.
At first I would always cancel out of the seemingly neverending onslaught of "PureHD" installation windows, but then I decided to try to let it install, but it says that resources aren't there and wants me to locate files manually, and of course I have no idea what it's looking for.
I'm pretty sure that PureHD isn't anything I want or need, so how can I make it go away already? Thanks in advance.
Jack,
I am running XP and your solution worked for me.Thanks a ton.
Joe,
That looks like you caught a virus or spyware. Should really install Microsoft free anti-virus program called Security Essentials.
Not to long ago I found a program for cleaning the registry and it's FREE. I have been using bought ver. of CCleaner and was not happy with the program and found Warp Registry Cleaner. It also lets you select which programs run at start up.
