How can I draw a simple 3D object like below?
In the basic shapes, there is only cylinder...
Thanks!
Hi MT,
Draw is not really a 3D program, but for basic 3D objects it is fine. I created my attached image using the Extrude Tool, as follows:
I am only a basic level user of Draw (although an advanced user of PP), so others may chime in with much better solutions than mine.
Best regards,Brian.
Excellent sample!
It is so excellent that I don't know how to do that....
Tried with those settings but could not get the same result.... >_<

thanks for your kind words. When I created that image I was really working out how to do it myself, lol. Once created I exported it to a bitmap and did not bother to save the Draw file. As soon as I get a chance I will make it again and jot down the exact settings I use to let you know. I will also save the Draw file so you can look at it and look at the Property Bar settings.
Thank you in advance !
I have attached a CorelDraw X5 file for you which contains a short tutorial with all of the settings I used in my new image. Naturally, settings will vary from image to image depending on rotation, bevel width, fill, lighting, etc. requirements. The image in the tutorial is not identical to the first image I posted, but was created using all the same steps.
hi brien, an excellent piece !
would you mind to post a short videoas tut , i´m sure it´ll be inspiring for many people.
if you like to present other things, bring them up !
cheers!
Here's another similar example, using the bevel tool in Corel
