Hello!
Dose anyone know if there is away to round the corners on cell’s in a folder? I know you can do it with graph paper but doesn’t work with a table.
Any ideas?
Mikey
Hi Mikey,
the graph paper tool creates a series of grouped rectangles, so you can round the corners of those rectangles. If you break a table apart it consists of vertical and horizontal lines with several nodes on each of them. This is why you cannot round the corners of a table. You could draw a rectangle the same size as your table (select the table, hold down shift while you double-click the rectangle tool), then round the corners on the rectangle and powerclip the table into it.
Maybe someone will come up with a better idea.
Best regards,Brian.
if you ungroup a graph paper shape it is made up of a series of rectangles. If you break apart and then ungroup a table you will see it is made up of a series of vertical and horizontal lines, with several nodes on each. This is why you can't round the corners of a table. However, you could select the table, then while holding down your shift key double-click the rectangle tool (to create a rectangle the same size as your table) and round the corners of the rectangle. Powerclip your table to the rectangle and there you have it.
Here is an example of what I described:
Thanks for that Brain, not really what i wanted. wanted to be able to round corners on all sides of a rectangle within a table. i'll just have to make it up with rectagnles, was hoping i could spped my job up oh well. thanks again!
