I am considering a move from Photoshop and Illustrator to Photo-Paint and CorelDraw. My biggest hurdle is that I use the spacebar for panning around a document and CTRL-Spacebar for zooming.
Can the Corel products be set up to use the spacebar for a pan hand?
Thanks,

Ctrl+J (options) customize, look for "all comands" and go to "Zoom" and assign the shortcut you want 8such as Ctrl+Spacebat) under the sortcut Tab. Remember that photoPaint works different, you don't need to hold and maintain pressign both keys, when you take the zoom you don't have to press the keyboard anymore. If you want to zoom in, just drag (as in Photoshop) and if you want zo zoom out, press Shift (instead Alt).
Also, there's other useful shortucts, such as F2 for zoom in, F3 for zoom out, F4 for fit image on window, etc

Correction: It is possible to use Spacebar as a single key shortcut (could have sworn it wasn't).Find the 'Pan One-Shot' command (PhotoPaint only has a normal Pan command) and assign Space to it.I suggest you use another key or combination though. Tool swapping with spacebar is very handy.
Another tip: The 'N' for Navigator has been mentioned, the 'H' for Pan is another standard key, but it is also possible to use a mouse button to pan via an AutoHotkey script. Os wrote one some years ago and it works absolutely fantastic.
HI.
I recommend give yourself time to adjust to the new workflow and welcome change.
Soon you'll forget all about that small "hurdle" and you'll be proficient in both apps.
Try the mouse wheel zoom and other suggestions above.

I use CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop at work and at home... They work "ok" together, and if you don't mind working with mostly eps files, they work great together....I love the space bar panning in PS...but in CorelDRAW it is very handy to swap tools with the space.
Don't be afraid to continue using Photoshop....but CorelDRAW is 10 times a better program than Illustrator.
My personal opinion....Photo-Paint should have taken some pointers from Photoshop....can't beat PS
