Has anyone ever had this problem....
I just started using CorelDraw X5 (previously used version 10 or 12) and I can't find the Bezier tool. When I watch tutorials it looks like it should be under my curve tools, but it definitely isn't. Do I have a setting turned off or something... or is this a glitch?
I talked to the tech guys asking if maybe something didn't fully download correctly and they said it downloaded fine.
I just really need my Bezier tool... I miss it. :(
Thanks!
should be right there

Thank you for the screen shot. At least now I know that something is definitely wrong. I'm even missing the Freehand tool. Here is what I have:
Looks like you have a messed up workspace environment. Close DRAW, then press and hold down the F8 key and start DRAW. When you get the pop-up asking to reset things back to factory default, answer "Yes". Then check to see if you have the Bezier tool.
Hi.
Wasn't this a bug in X5 pre sp3.
Besides Hugh's suggestion which should fix it, make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > About and make sure the version number ends with .686

I just checked my co-worker's Corel X5 and he has the Bezier tool, so I at least know that we have the right version installed. Thanks John for letting me know about the bug though.
I'm going to try re-setting my default settings now.
grr... re-setting my settings back to default didn't work.
Hopefully I can talk the tech guys into reinstalling my Corel, so far it sounds like the only option.
If you have the disc (bought and mailed to you; not downloaded) all you would have to do is install the disc and select "Repair" -- it should correct the problem faster than doing a complete re-install.
