Hi All,
Love Corel, but only know the basics I guess.
I have used a bevel effect on a company name for a banner (3m x 1m). When I publish it to .pdf the bevel effect is extremely pixilated. I have made the bitmaps (in .pdf settings) 600dpi to try and help, but this does nothing.
I can only use .pdf on our printer RIP....
please help!
Thanks in advance.

1. Remove the bevel, break apart the text twice(first the words then each word) so that you have individual letters. Reapply bevel to each letter. Boo yaa, problem solved. This is 209% zoom on the decender of the 'g' that flat top is about 3" long and is great resolution. Give it a try.
2. Break text apart into two words. Use extrude, and then bevel, then 'show bevel only'
I can't attach it here, so go to this link, there is a corel x5 document and a PDF: https://www.yousendit.com/sharedFolder?phi_action=app/orchestrateSharedFolder&id=_6RnMb8p6E4m5nPEiuhk3Y5QHc46lhxi4UmvSr1so3c
as i said earlier.. this site is great!
simple thing like separating the letters worked!
thank you to all for helping and suggestions... much appreciated
