I have a 320page coreldraw X3 file. How do i print booklet in batches of 8pages each i.e. 1-8, 9-16, 17-24 etc.
Am struck so if anybody can help, thanks in advance.
Hello Indian; In CorelDraw when I select the printer I can tell it what pages to print ( or Selected ). But you can always brake your file up.
My Thoughts George
first of all, you must select the "booklet" option before start the document (double-click on the page border) and "facing pages". But if you already has the document (of course, as single pages, at real size) just go to the Print Preview and choose "custom" in the imposition panel, then choose the pages you want
my layout is booklet, everything else complies, but when i print it takes the first and the last page, i.e. page 1 and page 320 together whereas i want in the 1st batch page 1 and page 8 to be taken together, duplexing on pages 2-7 and so on.
Check for the correct imposition layout and the binding mode. I think you are applying an incorrect binding mode for imposing your pages.

I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. As Anand explained, apparently you do not have your binding mode and pages per group set correctly. Set the Binding Mode to Saddle Stitch and the Pages per Group to 8. This is in the Preview mode. Print Preview located under the File Tab. This should result in 40 page groups for the 320 document. Pages 1-8, 9-16, 17- 24 and so on. That is, if I am understanding you correctly.
If properly set, when you preview, the Signature 1 (Front), should show page 8 on the left and page 1 on the right.
