I've posted questions on this forum before when I started using X5 2 years ago. I've played with it more since then (but not as much as I would like due to school/work). I just have some questions about the program and some problems I came across while doing my art:
I can't think of anything else. Sorry for so many questions. Thanks in advance.
9. When I installed x5 on my computer, I was forced to put all of its files on my desktop instead of my programs folder. Why is that? It takes too much space on my desktop.
Forced by what? The program installs properly to the programs folder. Please clarify.
I mean this in all kindness, but judging by your questions you really need to spend some time with the help text and documentation for the program. #6 is a good example: You use the tool that suits what you're trying to achieve, and the pen tool and b-spline do similar but different things. Nobody is forcing you to use both, but as you get better at the program you'll be glad you have both options. You wouldn't limit a mechanic to only one screwdriver, would you?
Following up on available documentation, the blogs (linked at the top of the forum) are full of wonderful tutorials to help you. They're not all text, there are videos as well so you can see the tools used.
