hi guys , how do I get .wi filter to work in X6....................
I've never heard of .wi -- what program creates it ?
harryLondon,
that's just another bitmap file-type, earlier versions of CorelDraw Graphics Suite had quite good photo clipart CDs with tons of WI images. PhotoPaint was capable of opening those, and maybe saving (not sure about saving though).
OK, well it seems that X6 has WI export and import filters, and as far as I can see they work (at least, to the extent of importing one of its own exported WI files).
Not all filters are installed by default, so if WI is not in the import list, it may need to go back to the X6 install to add it.
Ok guys , .wi was Corels own format I believe for many years as seasoned user`s would know. Everytime a new version came out , a very well put together cd ,would be full of great photos. I have many ,since version 4 /5/6/8/12. It states on the web that it is still supported ? Ok , new to this X series , so not to sure how to install the extras , if they exist at all. Have put a ticket in as no one knows .................
Thanks any way , guess there are not to many people using corel now .................?
