Hi everyone,I'm new there, and very happy to find a community about CorelDraw, my main program for working stuff.Do some of you already have a colour palette which bug after a few minutes.Mine look like that:
And I have to close and re-open CorelDraw to be back in normal for a limited time again.Re-open the palette doesn't work, all the palette will look the same.I also tried to place a copy in Documents/Corel/Palette, it doesn't work. Can you help me if you know the solution, thanks in advance.Mara
Hello Mara; How about telling us about the computer and which Windows you are using.
George
Hi George, thanks for answering.I'm using Windows 8.1 64 bits, with Intel Core i5 3.20GHz and 8Go RAM.I'm running CorelDraw X6 64-bit.I'm actually trying an update of my Radeon HD 6450 from 13.251 to 14.301 to see if it could be the problem.
Hi Maranui,
Try looking here >> http://community.coreldraw.com/forums/p/46993/225105.aspx#225105
Thanks Chris,But it's my main palette RGB default which have issue, not the document palette.
Have you tried Resetting Corel Draw?
Close Corel Draw and when you start it up hold the F8 key down.
You will be asked if you want to reset to factory defaults, click yes.
Note you will lose any Customisation you have
Good Luck
I'll try the F8 thing.If it doesn't work, I may buy the X7 wishing it'll be a good upgrade. :)
F8 didn't change the palette problem.Do you think it could be the 64-bit version less stable than the 32-bit?
Some people have noted differences between 32 & 64 Bit versions.
I had no such problems running 64Bit X6.
You might also try rebuilding your palette then backing it up for safe keeping.
Apart from that I'm not sure where to go from here, the only thing I might suggest is to do a repair from your original install files.
Somebody who is more "techy" might chime in.
Hello Maranui; I have used the 32 and 64 bit Corel on this 64bit Windows 7 Utl. computer, in the beginning of X6 if you wanted to scan in Corel you had to use the 32 bit ver. but that's been taken care of now. I didn't see any difference other than that and the 64 bit was a lot faster. X6 doesn't do as much as X7,the main thing for me is the font embedding, the color palettes are different better to. I don't know about Windows 8 so I can't help. Sorry.
