Hello All,
I have a question regarding layer activity after duplicating a page using Corel Draw X6. I have only recently started using X6 and to my knowledge this particular issue did not arise on X5.
I am creating graphic drawing work using company templates which feature company logo and instructional info. One document will comprise multiple pages featuring different drawing views, as well as utilising master layers for the company logo and instructional info which are to be visible on all pages.
Before duplicating a page I check my layer settings on the first page of the document (which layers are to be turned off or on, or are to be kept printable/editable or not). These settings are to be replicated on all duplicate pages. The problem comes, when I create my duplicate pages, all of the layer settings from the first page have now become scrambled on duplicate pages. The first issue is that the document grid is now turned on, and the second is that certain layers that were turned off are now on, and others vice versa, which leaves me to have to manually input the specific settings on each duplicate page to bring them back to what they need to be. As previously mentioned I have used X5 and this has not been an issue before.
Also note that this is occurring regardless of whether the "duplicate all layers and contents" option is ticked or not.
If anyone has any experience with this same issue or has any advice on how to rectify this I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
