So i use x7 for my work for laser engraving\cutting , and i was hoping to find a list of free macros for x7 that performs some simple - yet repetitive and time consuming tasks
- a macro that rotates an object 90 dgrees
-a macro that rotates selected objects 90 dgrees each by it's anchor point
-a macro that paste an object in the center of the veiw
-a macro that saves a view , give it a shortcut so that whenever you hit the shortcut , it zooms to that view
-a macro that arrange a group of object's in a selected rectangle in a way that saves materials - i think it's called nesting- , this could be a hard one
-a macro that gives more options for editing curves ( creating arcs between 2 circles , slicing curves , fit objects to curves .. etc )
edit 1 :
-a macro that saves objects colors ( fills and outlines ) with shortcuts , by hitting the shortcut it automatically apply the saved fill and outline
-a macro that that works as dimension , but by selecting an object or group of object then running that macro , will automatically draw the dimensions of the object around it
also any macro that you can remember for x7 that's free , is welcomed to be posted
the reason i ask for free macros is because most of these paid macros are hard to purchase ( requires a visa , which i don't own )
thanks in advance

I wrote a macro that does that:
VIDEO: Preferred View Area 01
For that video, I put the two subs on a regular CorelDRAW toolbar. In my normal use, I have those assigned to keyboard shortcuts. Toolbar, menu, or keyboard shortcuts are just regular CorelDRAW workspace customization.
When a preferred view area is saved for a page in a document, the information is stored with the page. When the document is opened in the future, the preferred view information is still there, on a page-by-page basis.
If a preferred view area has not been saved for a page, then "Apply Preferred View Area" zooms to the page.
When I am navigating in a CorelDRAW document page, a lot of it is done using:
When it makes sense to do so, I pair them up to make them easier to remember, e.g., Zoom to Selection Plus is assigned to F4, and Zoom to Page Plus is assigned to Shift+F4.
Some of those keystrokes can also be sent using auxiliary buttons on my mouse.
After developing some "muscle memory", I can really fly.
I work with a guy who can't sort out his own files
it's pretty hard to find out where the latest objects are in each file , by having a preferred view it'll just make my job a bit easier , by simply setting preferred view to the latest edit done
also the feature where it zooms to a selected object is a needed one too , so all these features are combined together in one macro ?
Thank you !

For that, you could use the View Manager that is already part of CorelDRAW.
I use my Preferred View Area macro because it is easy to change or apply the preferred view quickly using keyboard shortcuts or toolbar buttons.
If you are interested in trying Preferred View Area, then let me know, and I will make it available.
The macro for Zoom to Selection Plus / Zoom to Page Plus are already available here on the forum; follow the link to the thread.
I tried the view manager , while it's fine .. but I'm looking for something that could do the same thing , but also with shortcuts as a way to change views , and if possible naming that view as well
for example we do make -sometimes- multiple products in one page , when we show the client or even our boss what we've made , it takes some time to swap between products , it also happens when we try to find stuff that are lost ( in the sea of objects ) that we make , so going through the view manager to change the view takes kind of the same time as just zooming out and in again , but with shortcuts , it,s gonna be much easier
anyway , your macro is more helpful than the view manager as it is , so if you would kindly make it available , I think it'll help a lot of ppl including me
