Yeah it is junk ware Gerard should resign in shame as a failure and Corel should tell truth about how bad its software is.
2.5 million users and you can't make it work, there's a surprise!
You've been posting crap like this since I can remember.
Unfortunately, there is more than a kernel of truth to this statement. I have faithfully relied on Draw to make a living since version 3.0, and the last two (X7 and X8) have been the most buggy, unreliable and problematic versions I have worked with. However, calling something a piece of crap is neither productive nor informed. Maybe those who dump all over Corel should move on and leave the rest of us, who want to work to fix and improve things, alone. You bring nothing to the table.

Well, as an old user too I disagree with this point of view. If you start with version 3.0 you should have known several worst versions. For example, the version 4.0 was the worst ever. You can't perform a simple color separations, since it include black on all separatios (a wrong color management that works on RGB). Ans version 6.0 was one of the worst too since it was developed for the beta of Windows 95 (aka Chicago) and t was not fully compatible with the final release. And, if you want to develop the list of worst versions ever, version 10.0 was also a abd version and versions 11 and 12 had a lot of bugs and problems.
Pinetop said:Ariel, to be fair, it's not a reasonable comparison when you consider the advancements in technology since version 3.0. You can't ignore the relationship between hardware and software, and version 3.0 was running (in my case) on Windows 3.1. I would expect an early version to have problems caused by platforms that were in their infancy. As far as X8 goes, while many users have no issues with it whatsoever, there are too many to ignore who have many of the same issues as I do. Don't get me started on the fonts/Win 10 catastrophe, freezes when pasting text from Word, crashes when accidentally touching the Home icon, etc. It has serious issues, that's hard to ignore.
I'm not doing a comparison between version 4.0 wit 18.0, it was an answer to you comment:

That's simply not true. The version 10. was the most unstable version ever, it crashes often, and had serious problem Specially hard since version 9.0 was almost perfect. without any iisues, but the version was re-designed for Windows XP and unfortunately it was not fast and stable as previous. And same happens with version 11.0 and 12.0, both crashes a lot an had serious issues. And, if you want to look for more, the version 6.0 was incompatible with the operating system, because Cowpland was hurried to launch. the version 6.0 on December, 1994 but Microsoft doesn't launches "Chicago" on January, it was re-designed and launched as Windows 95 on August 24th, 1995, Part of the prorgam just doesn't work, then Corel should launch version 7.0 as soon as possible to fix it. And you believe the X7 and X8 have been the most buggy, unrelieable and problematic versions? Then you never worked with version 4.0. The print menu show a preview first, but it takes several minutes on display, and you mus wait to finish it for disable it. Some menus has not any option like "accept", "OK", "cancel" etc, then you can't apply it, the only option was exit with the Esc key. But the worst problem is when you try to send a job for print color separations, since the result was wrong. If tit was not problematic for you, it was a big issue for me. And the are several other "big bugs" on other versions too (7.0 or 8.0 for example). So, it's not true to say that X7 or X8 have been the most buggy, unrelieable and problematic versions. I use it everyday, and I know a lot of people that use it everyday without any problem, no crashes, no problems. And the output was perfect, colors are output perfectly, quality was perfect, Of course, nothing is perfect, I know there're some bugs, I know some prople has problems, but there are less problems and less bugs as previous version. I spend part of my time on help people around the world, then i receive the feedback about their problems. Of course, it's not a scientific study, nor an official statistic, but I know most of the problems relative of each version. And for X7 and X8 I receive less complaints than previous version, for the same users. And although now I know many more users than previous years (thanks to the internet and social networks), the amount of issues or severity of the problems are much less than before.
I'm not saying there are not problems. Of course, we all know there are. But to say that X7 and X8 are the most buggy, unrelieable and problematic version simply is not true.
