Hello to all.
Is there any way that I can create a multi layered drawing and export it as .SVG file but preserve those multiple layers? I mean I need those layers to be independent in .html file but still to look like they are the same image. If the small drawings were regular shaped I could use them separately in .html, but, unfortunately, they aren't.
Thanks,
McChoby
I mean something like this to be treated independently. Like when only one shape is hovered it can change color or when clicked to lead to different links, etc. I hope you understand me.
You don't need layers or groups to do this with html and css. If I exported a SVG with three layers, the groups get by default these names: <g id="Layer_x0020_1"> <g id="Layer_x0020_2"> <g id="Layer_x0020_3"> Draw makes a style deceleration for fill, instead of inline. In CSS I would do somedthing like: a svg:hover #Layer_x0020_1{ fill: #111; A hover over the first group would change it from a bluish color of 00CCFF to black 111. You don't need layers, don't need groups all that you need is the id=. This is all done in code. Export a SVG file from draw and open it with a text editor to see. Please note my html and css are as rusty as can be. There are probably a dozen ways to do this.
