Hi i dont see a forum for X2 so I am going to post here. I have a picture of a background and I have another picture of a limousine I am working on. What I am trying to do is take the picture of the limo out of the background it has on it and put it on the other background of a prettty waer fountain. I cant seem to paste it on the other pic without the background of the limo. I have been working on it trying to figure it out for over a week now and I am about to pull my hair out. I am new to the paint shop pro V2 so I have no clue what any of it means . Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you
I am with the Paint Shop Pro Photo product team, and while I can't give specifics on unannounced sites, I can give you a strong hint that you may be seeing a PSPP community site in the very near future.
But to your specific question, the Background Eraser is usually the way to go to do this. If you don't have the Learning Center palette open on the left side of your screen, go to the View menu and open it, then look in the Collage section for tips on doing this. Basically, you use the Background Eraser to remove the background around the car, then copy and paste into the new image and resize it to fit.
Cheers!
It's been 5 months. Any more news on a Paint Shop Pro community?
I've been using it for years and was very happy with PSP7, but Corel kept sending me emails showing off all the cool features of PSPX2. So I finally caved in and bought the upgrade online.
The problem is...
1. I can't find my PSP7 serial # on the carton or the splash screen, so PSPX2 won't let me install the upgrade.
2. I can't get my serial number from JASC because their web site says all support is now handled through Corel
3. I can't email Corel Tech Support asking how to find my serial number because their online form wont accept submissions without a serial number (Catch-22).
4. I can't call Corel Tech Support because their web site says support in the USA is only handled through their online form (see #3 above)
5. I can't ask Corel if they inherited the JASC customer database (showing me as a registered PSP7 user) because of #3 & 4 above.
6. I can't post these questions on the PSP forum because there is no PSP forum.
7. I can't return the software for a refund because I have no physical product; just the electronic download.
Sigh... Oh well, at least I got a free "Paint Shop Pro Official Photographer" t-shirt with my unusable software.
