Hi,
how do I save a Corel Photopaint X3 script/batch file for use in Version 10?
Thanks in advance
Cheers, weinberger
Hello weinberger; I never used ver. 10 or X3, but I would try Exporting to a PDF file and see if 10 can open it, or maybe a EPS.

I don't understand it. I can export a script (csc-file) to a pdf file and import the script in the pdf to corel 10 to use the script herein?
What I mean is I want to use the X3-csc-file in corel 10 too.
Thanks.
For scripts, you will probably need to open the script in the editor and copy it to clipboard, and then paste it into the editor in the other version.
But the script will probably not run in a much earlier version -- it is likely to use features that the earlier version does not support.
Thank you harryLondon. I will try by copy and paste the text of the script.
Unfortunately I can't get it to work.
I think you may have to try recording the macro again in version 10.
There may be a better way, but I probably never used macros before X4 and I don't have either v10 or X3 to try anything.
I think so. But this I wanted to avoid.
I think You must change line WITHOBJECT "CorelPhotoPaint.Automation.13" (or OBJECT_PHOTOPAINT )to WITHOBJECT "CorelPhotoPaint.Automation.10"Probably, some of the newer features will not work
Thanks. Already tried this. Not working. So I reinstalled Corel 10 and recorded the macro again in Corel 10. Very time-consuming and annoying.
