i generally have to take content from word into my corel files. but i cannot change fonts after pasting it. If i paste it in notepad and then again copy from there and paste in corel. as you can understand its more time consuming and tedius.
anyone can suggest what settings i need to change in CorelDraw if any!! i could not find any such option in word document settings.
Problem is probably relating with the OLE settings in Word. My recommandation, completely uninstall office and re install...(don't forget to delete reg entires.)
I see that you are using Version 11. I'm not so sure this will work as it does in Version 14.
Copy your text to your clipboard (CTRL+C),
Select the Text Tool(F8) in Draw > Either Draw a Paragraph box or just click on your page > Paste from your Clipboard (CTRL+V).
You will see the options to :
Select which one you need, and make your changes there.
When you copy text from MS Word and paste without the text tool you can't really edit the properties of that text. It will be placed as a document object.
Select you text and COPY it. (Ctrl+C)
Open CorelDRAW and select EDIT / PASTE SPECIAL, then choose the option 'TEXT".
Save your Word docs as rtf files OR as Word '97 docs. Import into paragraph text. All of your tabs, line breaks, & paragraph breaks will be maintained.
I have encountered the same problem, everything you have to do can be seen in this video and you will finally solve the problem.www.youtube.com/watch
