I have been working on a science teaching files for 2 weeks and it was a 49 pages file that was about 300MB.
The problem is that i opened my file and i found out that it is just a blank page, but the file size still aroudn 300MB.
forget about the backup file. it is also corrupted .
What shoudl i do?
To begin with, I would be suspicious that the file size is still 300mb. That would appear to indicate you haven't lost the data. Not sure what elements you have on the pages. If it's just text, maybe a silly idea, but could you have changed the text to white (it would appear invisble). Also the fact you can open the file would seem to indicate that it's not corrupted.
We added a feature to CorelDRAW X4 that enables it to recover some problematic files. Give the X4 trial a go and see if this is applicable to your file. Again, this is not applicable for all files, but I had some success with certain files that used to open as a blank page with previous versions.

I have been working on a Graphics files from past years. There were son may cdr files. The problem is that i opened my file and i found out that it is just a blank page,
Check Object Manager in CorelDRAW with the blank page open... see if there are any listed on layer 1 for instance.
Hit F4 to zoom to all objects.
Could be almost anything stopping the file from loading or just being visible.
Post the file when you reply (use the Options Tab and File Attachment).
Then a few of us here can check it out.
