Hi,
i'm having problems with export option in corelDraw 11, i'm trying to export a .Png file with transparent background, when the "convert to BitMap" dailog box opens up, the "tranparent Background" option is inactive.
in the export dailog box, checked the "selected only" option
i tried everything, check anti-alias, and choose RGB as color mode and gave 300dpi res, still, the "transparent Background" option is not active ! any thing i missed out guys, kindly adivse
kind regards
arfath
Populate the Masked Area button also. It is on the Export screen.
i thought i made it clear that the button of transparent background is inactive
the image below "the button" check option is in active,
why is it so ? doesn't CorelDraw 11 support transparent background png ?
or is there some thing i missed out ?
thanks to all who read and post replies
regards

I am sorry I misread your post. I hope you can forgive me. I do not wish to cause you grief. Re-reading your post I see that I missed your problem completely. I hope you get a proper answer soon.
Hi Hunter,
nice to see you posting again, I haven't seen your posts for a long time. I am just wondering if Arfath is converting to bitmap first, or if he is directly exporting. In X5 when we export to PNG it actually says "Export to PNG" on the dialog box. I have a feeling in earlier versions it used to confusingly say "Convert to Bitmap" after choosing a file name when exporting. I could be wrong here, but I seem to remember this happening when I was writing an export macro for Jeff H. Even if I am right about the dialog box, it sounds quite possible that Arfath is converting to bitmap first anyway, going by the fact that the relevant options are greyed out.
Best regards,Brian.
