please help
Looks like you might have deleted another version but left some stuff behind the uninstall did not remove, personal user files, shell extension and any files, folders from the removed version?
Bob's answer is the most likely option, remnants of the existing or removed install could cause this. Did you try a full restart before (re)installing as that may allow Windows to delete those remnants (some of them only get properly removed after a restart if they were locked during deinstallation etc.)You could try using CCleaner to clean the registry for CorelDRAW entries as a last resort in case the issue is with that. But only do this if you are comfortable with this kind of stuff, otherwise you could do more harm than good and mess up your computer.
After uninstall:
Remove all folders and files, including FontDatabasesearch %appdata% or look in C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Corel (might be hidded folder)

See my comments in this thread: coral X8 box install problem.
That was a case where the DVD-from-the-box would not install (Windows 7; May 2017) because the installer was not able to cope with the fact that some newer versions of some Microsoft components were present on the machine.
In my case, the error message was misleading. The problem was not a previous installation of CorelDRAW.
The solution was for Corel support to get me a newer version of X8 that incorporated some updates. That installed without any problems.
