My question is how do i do this

Quick way (may need tweaking when you have your basic shape).
Type in the text. Then select your text. Select the Interactive Envelope tool, then on the tool bar, the desire envelope mode (straight, curved, etc.) Now, grab the bottom end nodes of the (enveloped) text and pull them down. You may have to push up the center bottom node to get the desired curve.
