it is possible to give the transparency the way we expected despite of given presets like linear, radial...etc.,
for an instance if the element is a star shape, i want the edges to be subdued or transparenced is it possible as this is a big problem to me. For these types of elements i have to opt corelpaint or photoshop.
kindly help me
with regards
sriram
There's no direct tool to do that inside CorelDraw. If you only want the edges to be soft, but not necessarily transparent, then you could do a trick with the Blend tool. Create a duplicate of your original shape (let's call A the original and B the dupe). Send B behind A with the Arrange/Order commands. Give B the same fill colour as your background. Then use the Blend tool to blend both objects together and toy around with the number of Blending steps. More steps will give a smoother transition, but it's no use in using a lot if your image will be depicted in a small size.
thanks for the support
but i had an idea of taking the 'interactive bitmap pattern transparency' which i could prepare the bitmap of grayscale in photoshop in a desired pattern but i am unable to place the bitmap exactly fit to the original element is there any solution ? it is tiling or tilting or rotating very much irritating but not fitting well.
Maybe this macro from Os, will do what you want.Try it, it works pretty good.
There are more fantastic macros from Os (wOxxOm) and others at MacroMonster.com
1. Apply a Radial Transparency to the star.
2. Flip the start & end values of the transparency in the Fountain Transparency editor (open the transparency editor by clicking the icon in the top left corner).
3. Tweek values as needed.
