I am trying to make a round monogram such as this:
I have seen an old post about using the line tool and making it by hand but i am having a hard time doing that. the monogram will be cut out in vinyl (car decals) so i need to be able to make all the letters. I have tried the envelope tool but that just wraps the letters around the circle like a sphere shape.
Is there an easier way to do this? It would be nice to be able to do triangles also but I need to conquer this one first :)
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Sorry..looks like my picture may not have shown up!
Hi.
No. You have to design and create each letter individually from scratch. You can do this with templates that you create and setup in the guides layer. That way your characters can match each other.
Using the snap features such as dynamic guides will also be of greathelp.

It did:
Hello aregister; I used your letters to make these with the one you posted, Is this what you are after?

Circles may be more of a problem than triangles.
This is a visual from another post that I responded to a long time ago.
Some manual node manipulation is usually required.....especially if you want something circular.
In addition, you can purchase (or maybe even find some for free online) Monogram fonts at places like:

Harolds has a circular font similar to the image you posted
