I need help on this one.
This used to work before, when I copy an object and paste, it will paste it on the same position.
Now, this still works on curved object but not on text. When I copied an artistic text, it pasted into a paragraph text, with its property reset and all, as if it was copy from a notepad and paste on coreldraw.
If you use skype, see aimee's answer at http://community.coreldraw.com/forums/p/33728/158553.aspx#158553
If that's not your problem, then it is probably still related to something that changed recently, so consider what else might be hooking into the clipboard, especially if it is new or updated since clipboard text last worked properly.
Thanks, it was Skype Click to Call that create the issue, un-installing it solved the problem.
Another option would be to use the DUPLICATE function CTRL+D. As long as your duplicate offset is zero the item will duplicate in the same location.
Hey Erwin,
Have you tried taping the + key on the Key Pad?
It duplicates the object (no matter what) directly on top of itself.
Ctrl-D and + are both good ways (better and faster) for duplicating within the same page. But a working clipboard is still a good and easy way to copy things to another page, or to another document.
