Hi all, I have been creating PNG's with transparent backgrounds forever, but now I need one with a transparent background AND a partial transparency area for a glow effect. I can't seem to figure this out. Can anyone give some step by step directions on how to accomplish this with Draw X3?
Thanks in advance.
Hello euphrates; Is this what you are looking for?

Yes. Sorry for not checking in a while. For example, I want to be able to prepare a png to be printed on a black shirt but I want the gradient to not have a background behind it. Am I making sense. I don't want any white background left, not even what shows through the gradient. Is this possible with a png?
Have you checked with the printing company that a gradient will print OK on black shirts? Or are you printing these shirts yourself?
Printing on black shirts can be more complicated than normal print because they usually have to put a layer of opaque white behind all the inked areas otherwise the inks would look extremely dull. The problem with this is that a transparent gradient is quite likely to fade to white rather than black, because I doubt if they can make the opaque white background partially transparent.
How are you creating the image? In CorelDraw or in photopaint?
