X3 no longer expands the layer in Object Manager when I select an object in the drawing.

It shows the location of the object down on the bottom bar, but the layer in the object manager does not open to show it there.  It now does this with all files.  I opened a couple files in X6 and the layers expand correctly there.  I know that it always worked like this before in X3 as that is my preferred version to work in.   I don't know what changed.

    Well, OK then.  I didn't know there was an Object Manager Options, and I don't find anything to press to get to it.  But in fooling around I found that a right click in the blank area sometimes opens a menu such as you show.  Other times it doesn't seem to do that and I get a different menu.  In any case, the line you show was mysteriously unchecked and re-checking it fixed the problem.  Thank you very much.  A lot of time saved moving forward.    Where is the Object manager Options you reference?
