Well, actually it is easiest if you get them straight in camera. Those who use PhotoPaint and have seen PSP or LightRoom in action can develop Horizon Correction envy. It is actually quite easy to correct horizons in PhotoPaint without scripts or complex calculations.

Great! Quick and easy way of doing it, at least if the adjustment is rather big like in yout tutorial. For smaller adjustments I can imagine it gets a bit tricky to rotate the crop frame in an exact way. As I wrote elsewhere I think sliders would be the way to go to adjust things like this, and an instant rotation would be the absolute best.
I'll be doing it your way from now on. The salesman here at the sign company I work for always brings in digital photos that require straightening and the way I've been doing it - dragging a guideline from the ruler, rotating, then cropping - won't be the way I'll be doing it from now on.
