Any suggestions on a decent app for converting / working on raw camera files (Canon - CR2). I'm looking at Bibble...providing I can find it in a store somewhere ( I don't use credit cards.....tooooo many nice "toys" out there to drool over...till the end of the month ! )

I would recommend you look hard at the Canon DPP software that came with your camera. It is a very good raw converter with many nice features. You can download the latest version free from Canon's website. Then you won't have to use a credit card.
Downloads from the card are handled by Canon's Zoom Browser and when you click on the tab for RAW, the controls are mundane, at best. I thought THAT was the DPP software for RAW images. After reading your reply...realized that the Canon DPP is seperate...opened it,...tried it,....BIG DIFFRENCE..works fine for me !
