Overcooked DSCF7769

Hi Everybody,
This is the original shot of Lake Tiorati in Harriman State Park in New
York state.
We liked the shot but it looked a little too bland. So ? I
overcooked it. (See the following post.)

Hi Everybody,
Here's the overcooked version -- in my own garish style. It
illustrates why I need a good set of Lab Curves as in PhotoPaint. I
wouldn't know how to do this in RGB. In PhotoShop, there would be problems
with the curve bulging out where I didn't want it.
I just like pictures like this.

Hi,
You're correct.
However, just about nobody looks at the gallery. Then again, just about
nobody looks at this forum.
I was looking for a forum where random posts could be placed without
permanent storage. Perhaps the Critique forum would be best.
The fundamental problem is that almost all users of the Corel Graphics
Suite use DRAW. I must be the only one in the world that uses PhotoPaint on
a regular basis. I find it to be far more comfortable than the
competition.
