i am having trouble figuring out how to cut objects neatly out of photos. Like say i have a pic. of a dog, i wanna cut the dog out and be able to copy and paste it to a blank page or another pic without having the original background come with it. If you know how plz help, id appreciate it alot.

Ok See the attached file. There are number of tools for selecting the desired areas in an image. It may depend on your requirement, which tool to use. Again you have more settings available for the selected tool depending on the requirement. You may need to spend some time understanding the use of these tools. The back of the chair is selected with the magicwand tool. You can copy the selected part from the picture and paste it on a blank page.
Just a part of skills that you develope with using it more and more.
