Hi there, will someone convince me that Corel Photopaint is much better than iGrafx Picture Publisher?
My friends (who are fanatics of photopaint) hate me because I currently use Corel Graphics Suite Version 11 for vector and Layouts but I still use the old Pic publisher 9 for general Raster edits because of speed and flexibility.
I intend to buy X3 suite later and I think it's about time I "used" photopaint but i'm still not that convinced.
So will someone please assure me that it's worth it ... and kick me in the butt because I'm so stubborn.
Thanks,
JKX
I used to love Picture Publisher! I now use Photo-Paint simply because it interfaces with Draw and it gives me everything I need. If one or the other is any better? I don't really know, it has been some time since I used Picture Publisher.
I have done a little bit of research and it seems that the creators of Picture Publisher (which is iGrafx, used to be called Micrografx) is now a division of Corel. Yep, iGrafx Pic Publisher is Corel Photopaints' ancestor!
I just want to know if the X3 version of Photopaint can run rings around photoshop (because majority of Adobe users at my workplace are now Corel / PP9 converts).
