Is anybody else having this problem?
How can I fix this?
This is what I have set in options.
This is my save dialogue.
Absolutely, my larger clients are architects, interior designers and engineers. Tech support in one company has to support over 200 desktop and 150 laptop systems as well as every cell phone for every employee. Add to that audio video and web based processes. CAD, 3D rendering and animation software, the Adobe Suite and the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. This one company has two technicians.
The latter is extremely susceptible to corruption due to work space customization and the use of problematic macros, so much so that a reset to default work space does not always repair the problem causing areal tech support issue. A technician cannot be an expert on every software, it must be uniform, stable and easy to service. Having a few users systems fail just because they thought they'd be more productive by customization and macro use is not an option in other applications and that makes them a better option for those in tech support..
Perhaps I'm missing something here. I was asking if you could offer specific examples of applications - as in, names of specific computer programs for general productivity, creative work, design, engineering - that provide the degree of administrative control that you consider to be required.
I understand that you want that degree of control. I'm asking for examples of applications that provide that degree of control (e.g., forcing all users to use exactly the same application workspace, all the time).
They all do except CorelDRAW because they do not allow customization.
This is just another form of customization.

CorelDRAW is the only application that allows customization?
?????
No application I know of allows customization to the scope of CorelDraw. The applications these clients use are ETREMELY limited in terms of what they allow the user to do, in reality next to nothing. Some of these are $1000 dongle controlled plug-ins for Auto CAD, some are 3D plug-ins, others are stand alone applications some also dongle controlled most are not. You can have two CorelDraw users working side by side and at a glance not recognize the interface. How is tech support going to ever support an application like that? Looking just at this forum the amount of problems that are caused by custom workspaces, importing work spaces begs for some sort of control. I'm not suggesting Corel remove customization just add another feature an administrative lock. At clients I serve and on my own systems I set them up creating all workspace from scratch when the application is installed and NO ONE is allowed to modify the work space. In fact at some of my clients users have been let go because they could not behave themselves with the work stations modifying CorelDraw can get you fired. We do not use macros I have explored buying one or two at one time but the repeatability of the job didn't warrant the investment as we could do the one time job manually for the same or less cost of developing a macro. As I said I'm not suggesting Corel remove customization just add an administrative lock.
