just happened today. Every time I create some kind of new artwork, I always export it to .jpg before sending it to the customer
for approval..Today it quit working. It goes through the routine, I click on export, pick .jpg, and the export to box comes up, but the file is not created
So I did the F8 reset which of course created a couple of new probs for me such as deleting my custom settings such as making the outline a hairline and now it defaults to .5 but it didnt
help.
Anybody have a solution for me?
Thanks
And yes I did search all over the computer for the files but they aint there
So, pretty much the same as hitting F8 on start up?

Using F8 on startup resets the workspace to default.
Renaming that folder will do that, too - but it will also "start from scratch" a LOT of other stuff that is stored in those folders. It's a good way to take a bunch of stuff out of the picture for the sake of testing.
A nice thing about just renaming the folder is that nothing in there is actually lost. If you wanted to, you could go back to get something out of it. Or, you could delete the "new" folder and then rename the old one again to get back to where you started.
