Check Options > Global > File Locations, there may be an invalid file path.
I have the same problem. That is not the issue: there are no invalid file paths in the settings.
Look for the folder that CD create in the mydocuments folder, I have found that a lot of people will delete that one as they don't uses it.
Our users are having this issue at work too, just some of them not everyone as we upgrade to Corel 2022. I'll check this out and see if it works for us.
I know this is a late reply, but I found the solution. In my case, Microsoft "One Drive" was active and hijacking all my files on my new laptop. So during the install process it used One Drive for the default file locations for coreldraw.. I subsequently disabled One Drive and started getting the error. Coreldraw was looking for file locations on One Drive and could not find them. I went into the registry and found the offending registry entries and changed them to the default locations on the local file system. Just go to:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel\CorelDRAW\24.0\Box Preferences\File Locations
-- and make sure the file locations exist for all the location keys present.
