Would you please explain exactly how a user would check that VBA is correctly installed on a system?
If I were experiencing those sorts of problems, and a "repair install" did not fix it, then I would probably try a full uninstall / reinstall of CorelDRAW.
I understand that such an approach has its own potential risks and headaches!
As one example, I know that I could not at this time successfully install CorelDRAW X8 using the DVD that came in the box. That has to do with later versions of some Microsoft Visual C++ stuff. The last time I did a new installation of X8, I had to go through Corel technical support to get access to a version of the installation stuff that incorporated necessary updates.

You are being very wise! I agree, if it's working well enough to keep active projects moving, then you don't want to tangle with re-installation if you have reason to expect problems there.
Corel technical support were able to get me a version of the X8 installation stuff that worked without having to play games with the Visual C++ stuff.
For the record, all of my stuff was on Windows 7 systems.

If I recall correctly, the Support personnel asked me for my serial number. They then gave me a link to what wasn't a complete downloadable install package, but just an "installer" that then downloads what it needs during the installation process.
