Dear Helpers,
I tried to print on my CD printer, but get the following message: Unable to access printer driver. Try removing and reinstalling this printer driver. After I press OK on that box I get another box with the following message: The printer is currently unavailable. The printer and/or server my be offline. If this is not the case, it may be necessary to reinstall the printer.
I've reinstalled the CD printer as a copy, but this doesn't solve the problem. My HP printer and labeller work - they are connected to USB plugs.
Can someone help me please.
I have been following along on this thread. The help has been spot on. Now, at this point, I think you may have either lost the printer (internal chip failure) or it is locked up due to some internal software glitch. Did you cycle the power on the printer? If so, do you have another printer that you could hook up to your PC (the one that you are having printing problems with) and test with that?
Also have you power cycled you system (computer)? You may want to try that also!
I changed the printer cable and still got the same error messages. I've also rebooted my computer and turned off the CD printer a couple of times earlier - before I started to contact this helpful forum.
The CD Printer is a Primera Signature 3 model and I've downloaded the updated drivers when I installed the identical CD printer (Copy 1).

One other thing would be to right click on mycomputer and select properties then device manager. Do you see any question marks or exclamation points? Click the plush sign by ports and printers check those all out! If you do not see anything thee I would make sure you delete both cd printer installs and then make sure all drivers are uninstalled through device manager then shut down computer after restarting then reinstall.
