"Print to file" still doesn't include the file name. Have to manually type in file name to save... Horrible!

How is this feature still unavailable? In older versions when printing "to a file", the file name would automatically be including in the "save as" dialogue box. In new versions (confirmed in  2019, v.21 and later), you have to manually type in the file name every time printing to a file. We print 100's of postscipt files a week and this is ridiculous, having to manually type in the file name to save it every time. I've reported this to Corel twice now through development, still not fixed. This program gets worse and worse each release. Don't upgrade Corel ever. Find a version, get it to work for you, and never upgrade. I've got clients still in X6 that are perfectly satisfied with the software. Don't even get me started on how slow the font list became in version 2019 and later.

  • I might have misunderstood the problem but when I tested version 2022 on macOS Ventura, printing to file by defult uses the document name as the base of the .ps file(s) to be exported (and untitled.ps if the file is not saved). Has this field previously been empty?
