I know this is a late reply, but I found the solution. In my case, Microsoft "One Drive" was active and hijacking all my files on my new laptop. So during the install process it used One Drive for the default file locations for coreldraw.. I subsequently disabled One Drive and started getting the error. Coreldraw was looking for file locations on One Drive and could not find them. I went into the registry and found the offending registry entries and changed them to the default locations on the local file system. Just go to:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel\CorelDRAW\24.0\Box Preferences\File Locations
-- and make sure the file locations exist for all the location keys present.
You don't have to go into the registry.
Go to
Tools/options/global/file locations
and you can change them there. This has the advantage that there is a check that the location exists and any existing files can be moved.
