Applying multiple outlines to an object

Hi,I have a star and would have it with multiple outlines with different color.I do it this way-conver the outline to object and then duplicate it multiple times and change the properties of each so called strokeSo,is there any better way to achieve this effect?

  • 2 objects and blend tool.

    • In addition to using a Blend, you could also use the Contour tool.

Corel, usually gives you multiple choices.

All depends on exactly what you need.

I agree with JerseyGirl - Contour would be my choice. After the Contour is
done, you can break the contour apart, then ungroup the contour bits and
        recolor as needed
        • Here is how the image looks like, but created in Illustrator,so I want something like this, but made with CoreDraw

          • Yep, either way will work fine...........again, mostly depends what you need the star for.

            • To replicate that image, I'd  go with contours...................especially since it's an irregular shaped star and all the offsets are of equal width.

You won't even need to fool with and acceleration settings.

Just select your object and put in the number of steps and the width you want each step to be.

Remember, you'll have to Ctrl+K (break apart) the Contour Group to re-color each 'outline'.

              Here you go..........

A few quick clicks. Contour to outside, 5 steps, set the offset #. Apply.

All done. Break apart to color as you want.

          • May not be better as you put it but there are at least 2 other ways.

            Blend or Contour Tool
